Focus: the state or quality of having or producing clear visual definition

F= Foundation

O = Optimization

C = Collaboration

U = Understanding

S = Stability

Stability. There's nothing sweeter when you feel like the whole world is falling out from under your feet.

You know the feeling. Teetering back and forth, your legs feel like rubber bands, your head is swimming, you can't see straight, the blood is rushing in your ears. And just when you think you might fall flat on your rear - someone, or something, is there to catch you.

Stability is the cornerstone and end result of having #FOCUS. #stability

I'm not much of a photographer (as you can see from some of my personal photos online), but this much I know, you want the FOCUS sure on the most important object in the picture. Even when you zoom in just right, the light is perfect, and all the heavens align for the best shot, if you wiggle, if you're unstable, the shot is ruined.

As you look toward the next few months, how stable is your focus? Do you know how you're going to get it (foundation)? Do you know what you want (optimization)?  Do you know who you will work with (collaboration)? Are you prepared for the ups and downs of the process (understanding)? If you can't answer yes to at least 3 of these questions, you WILL fall down. You know, the old 3-legged stool analogy for stability.

And, the incredible thing is that when you have the pieces in place, you have automatically created stability in your mind, your work practice, and in your results.

Do the right thing long enough, and the right results will show up. It's just the law of averages at work.

Listen, I could ramble on and on about this for a long time, but just like our surfer girl at the top of the page, why spend your time in the shallows when you can launch out into the deep and catch the big waves.

If you REALLY want to create a life of power, passion, purpose and clarity - you MUST get FOCUSED! As my weekday Biggest Loser X-Train video trainer Dolvett Quince says, "Do the work, and the work gets done."

By the way, one of the things I do is work with women one-on-one to help them develop a life of purpose, passion and clarity so they can invest their time on the things that truly matter. Is it time for you to have a coach to take you to the next level? Learn more here.
